The Alberta Sheep & Wool Commission is governed by a board of seven producer – directors, who are elected by Alberta sheep producers.  Each director represents a geographical zone in Alberta, and serves his zone for a maximum of two, three-year terms.  Directors are responsible for initiating policy and carrying out the mandate of the ASWC. 

The ASWC also employs two part-time office staff, who carry out the day to day operations of the Commission.  Enquiries and comments should be directed to your zone director, or the office.  If you do not know which zone you are in, please contact the office staff, who will be happy to assist you.
